Dandelion Salve is made with skin-nourishing sunflower oil infused with the flowers of dandelions my little daughters happily bring me from the lawns of our farm. We never use and chemical on our farm so the dandelions are not treated with any herbicides or pesticides. (Don’t worry, we left plenty for the bees!)
Dandelions are surprisingly beneficial for us in numerous ways, not the least of which is for our skin! Try using Dandelion Salve as an all-purpose salve for cuts and scrapes. Or allow the pain-relieving properties in dandelions work on sore muscles or aching joints and backs.
In many ways Babassu Oil is similar to Coconut Oil, however Babassu Oil isn’t drying to the skin the way Coconut Oil can be. Babassu Oil is high in essential fatty acids- lauric acid and is very beneficial for many skin conditions.
Please note, because of the Babassu Oil, this salve will be a little softer in the warm summer months and harder in the cool winter months.
